For this project, Group 3 experimented with using two cameras to provide multiple angles during our “Talking Heads” segments.
While this was quite fun, some angles didn’t allow us to use a tripod and we had to hold the cameras in our hands during the interview. This proved to be a challenge to keep as still as possible without cramping up.
One issue we faced was the limited space of our filming sites. Reflective surfaces pushed us to get creative with angle choices without being seen in Camera 1. However, we were disappointed when footage at the gym were unusable due to dirt mirrors that we didn’t notice during the filming process. Usable footage were a bit too awkward and we decided not to use those either.
We managed to grab some shots during the interview with the subject’s father, which we really liked. Now in post-production, we’re extremely excited to share our experience and the story with everyone at 4pm!
