In the world of cryptocurrency, fortunes are earned overnight.
We (Group1:Karuna,Lynette,Rachel,Tingwei,Vernice) found this intriguing and decided to explore the world of cryptocurrency for our featurette.
We interviewed 2 cryptocurrency investors and an expert over a course of two days in February, and filmed our presenter shots and voice-over on 12th March.
Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on our side and we battled with the elements! First the wind, then rain, and…
Yep, FIRE ALARM.
We filmed with 2 sets of Fujifilm XT2s (23mm and 35mm lenses) to get different shots of our interviewees. We used a MSH-6 MS Capsule attached to a Zoom H6 for audio recording, and a RODE as backup.
As everyone knows, cryptocurrencies aren’t tangible. It was challenging to think of possible B-roll. We travelled to the Monetary Authority of Singapore and also searched for a Bitcoin machine tucked away in the corners of Tiong Bahru Plaza.
Over the course of production, we learnt a lot about cryptocurrency. Through our video, we hope to share some insights about the cryptocurrency market. (Everyone wants to earn some extra cash, right?)
